Electronic Introspection in FL Learning

Adil H. A. Al Khafaji

Abstract

This work tries to revive interest in introspection and accommodate it in foreign language e-learning. It sets up a theoretical construct to probe into learners’ mental processes during acts of learning. The aspiration is to involve learners in acts of self-directed verbalizations of thoughts to externalize their learning mechanism and make it manageable object of study. It is believed that opening such a window on learning trends can illuminate our understanding of important concerns that are usually in question.
